Using the site
AxisPlot is free to use, with no account and no registration. You may use it for schoolwork, for research, at work, and in things you sell. There is no usage limit and no attribution requirement.
Your charts are yours
You keep every right in the data you paste and in the charts you make from it. We claim no licence over either, and we could not exercise one if we did: your data never reaches us. A PNG or SVG you download is yours to publish, print, edit or sell.
A link you create with "copy link to this chart" contains your data in readable form. Anyone with the link can see it. Share one as carefully as you would share the spreadsheet.
What we ask of you
Do not use the site to break the law, and do not try to interfere with it or with other people's use of it: attacking the site, scraping it in a way that degrades it for others, or working around its security. There is nothing here to extract: the code is already published at how it works.
No warranty
The tools are provided as they are, without warranty of any kind. We work hard on the arithmetic and we test it, and we will fix anything you report, but we cannot promise the site is free of errors or that it will always be available.
Check any figure that matters before you publish it, present it, or make a decision with it. A chart is a drawing of the numbers you pasted; it is not a verification of them, and it is not advice of any kind, whether financial, medical, legal or academic.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of this site, including any loss that follows from an error in a chart or from the site being unavailable. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Advertising and other sites
The site carries, or will shortly carry, advertising, and pages may link elsewhere. We do not control advertisers or the sites we link to, and we are not responsible for their content or their practices.
Changes
These terms may change; the current version always appears here with its date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the version on this page.
